Found this poster while looking through a collection of British WWII posters. Not much information to go on this one. I can't see an artist credit nor date of printing. Just a note its the property of the Ministry of Fuel and Power and was printed by the Stationary Office.
Normally when I trawl through the propaganda posters I look for things that have enough artistic talent behind them to retain some value beyond whatever line they're pushing. And initially my eye was caught by the pig man image.
Its a bit blunt but gets the attention. Having taken it all in I could see an updated version of this poster being reissued in many nations soon as the fuel crisis caused by US war on Iran bites ever deeper.
